My InfoPath Form Services 2013 Wish List

While I truly love the new interface for InfoPath 2013 I do have a little wish list which should only take a day or two to implement:

• Please support Managed Metadata (you do within the Document Information Panels)
• Please implement a native Spell Check
• Please provide actions for inserting and deleting rows via rules
• Please improve the submission validation UI
• Please support the inclusion of style sheets / current theme
• Please improve the support for tables to support background images

While you can work around most of the items above, it gets a lot harder when working with Office 365.

Tomorrow is a long time…

In the true spirit of the Olympics I thought I would make a Herculean effort and actually blog something.

As you may have guessed I have been a little busy with work and at home recently which has led to the usual developer practice of going dark.

Work projects this year have been very exciting but sadly I cannot discuss any of these directly via this forum. Home projects are a completely different matter and I am happy to provide an image below of our current project which was delivered on-time and on-budget however post delivery support and maintenance is far higher than expected.



There is also a big Sports Day (following on from the Big Society and the Big Lunch) taking place at the moment which has caused a little disruption. If you’re not from Europe then you may have no idea about this event and probably should get up to speed by watching the following instructional video.

I will try and post some top tips for working with InfoPath, SSRS and SharePoint 2013 in the coming weeks assuming I can find another five minutes.
